I wish it was 80 here, like it was 3 days ago!
As to power outages...sleep...especially if it's dark due to night or storm. We have just sat in the dark and talked. Thank you.
Second, thanks for following me, I am doing the same but you know what, it's not cuz you did it first, it's because what I've read makes me want to come back for more.
Have no electricity is no fun but up where I am it happens quite often. Sometimes just an hour at a time, sometimes an evening/night at a time. We get pretty creative for meal times and what not and in the winter we have a generator to help us stay warm.
Take care and have a blessed evening. I'm off to read a bit more. :o)Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15956818436541141380noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1249366091841153281.post-25434010977034872132010-12-02T21:43:36.563-05:002010-12-02T21:43:36.563-05:00Where are you, Betty, that it could be 80 degrees?...Where are you, Betty, that it could be 80 degrees? Four hours without power wouldn't be find, especially if it was cold and you relied on electricity for heat. It is amazing how quiet it is too when the power goes out, we get used to hearing the noise the computers and fridge, etc make and then suddenly it is absolutely quiet. The last time we lost electricity was during the day when they were converting old wires so it was bright sunshine and I could read. Otherwise, I'm sure we would do what you guys did talk :)

I won't say it is 80 degrees and bright sunny here today :)

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.com
