LOVE ONE ANOTHER

Dear friends, since God loved us so much we also should love one another.
I John 4:11

Without love we are basically useless to each other.  But what exactly is love?
Many people, many ideas...

Webster's definition of love:  to feel warm affection for, to like very much

Is that all there is to it?  Or is there more?

Love is giving, sharing, caring.  It is more than any words can say.   Yet a simple, "I love you" can fill an empty soul.  How often do you say these words and mean them?  Or even hear these words from ones in your life?  I can honestly say that it is hard for me to say, "I love you".  I feel it, but to say the words is not as easy.  Why do I have such a hard time saying this to the ones who do mean the most to me?

I've always thought that showing my love is much better than just saying it. I know this is true because sometimes the words are too easy.  BUT the spoken word is very powerful.

Today I will try to use the words "I love you" to those most precious to me.  Maybe I will be able to unlock my hesitation to use these 3 powerful words.
