I am normally not a fan of "hospital dramas", but this book involves much more than physical healing. Each character carries a deep emotional pain that needs to be healed. The spiritual elements are limited to references of praying and needing to trust God.
I did not know this was book 3 in a series until I read some other reviews about it. I was a little confused when unknown people were mentioned in the end. So it is a stand alone. BUT I know I want to get my hands on the first 2 in the series.
This book is a light-entertaining read. I recommend it to those who are casual readers looking for a good drama.
