No Girls Allowed Devotional from Tyndale House Publishers Review

Finally a devotional for boys

This devotional is perfect for the boy who is not one that likes to read. Each reading is precise and makes a specific point.  There are 60  two-page spreads that include a verse to read, then a short story to reinforce the scripture verse and a two or three sentence prayer. The stories are in themes that pertain to a boys life.  Here are a few examples:  bullying, controlling your temper, being a good friend, working hard, loving others and many more.  The author uses things that are familiar to boys like, transformers, Sponge Bob, video games, sports heroes and the like.
The next 2 pages include fun activities like:  secret codes, crosswords,  and word searches.  There is a section called "Things to do", which gives examples of how to do what you just learned. Then there are more verses that correspond with the lesson learned and some quotes from famous people.
All in all a very thought provoking and encouraging devotional.
