The hand written word is dying. I rarely take pen to paper to compose anything. I pay bills online or via computer check, I email, facebook or use the phone to communicate with those I love, any writing I do---I type. BUT when I receive a hand written note in the mail it is very special. Something treasured ;) Imagine opening a time capsule in the year 3000....inside will be paper, pen & pencil and everyone will "ooo and ahhh" over them, and wonder how we could have ever used such items!
Will you join me on National Handwriting Day and hand write a letter of thanks to our military? Maybe you can have a letter writing party...provide paper, pen and, of course, food! Let's join together to let our military KNOW that we are very thankful for their sacrifice! And while you are at it....pray for them!
