Interesting tidbit I learned today in my daughter's history lesson.
Dartmouth College located in Hanover, NH was first named Moor's Charity School in 1754. It was established for educating Indians in the Christian religion. It began in a house on 2 acres of land which was donated by a local farmer. The name was later changed to Dartmouth.
Today this college also hosts a medical school with a nearby hospital called Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. A place where I have spend WAY too many hours!
