I'm inspired when someone takes a passion, or two, and makes a business from that. Marilyn Lysohir took her love of art and chocolate and came up with an "American original, Cowgirl Chocolates...chocolates with a spicy cowgirl kick. She was the pioneer, one of the first companies to offer spicy chocolates in the world."



I am impressed with the uniqueness of the packaging.  Each has a wonderful "western" feel.  Just as you would expect from a product that has the name "Cowgirl" in it.


Who would have thought of adding spice to chocolate?  The taste is definitely one you won't forget.
  
My first bite was sweet and as expected, chocolatey....but then "BAM" spicy!  WOW...really spicy.  


My son took a bite of a caramel....I didn't warn him  HAHAHA.... he was hilarious! After about 10 seconds of chewing he said..."what's wrong with this caramel?  It's HOT!!!"  He loves spicy ;)
