Around the Table Games review & giveaway

HEAVENSENT1 HAS WON A GAME OF CHOICE

JOBRERRY WAS CHOSEN
AS THE MYSTERY WINNER!

CONGRATULATIONS

I am saddened at how technology has affected families.  No more is the time when families sit "around the table" and enjoy games and conversation.  All too often we find ourselves parked in front of a screen.  Dad at the t.v., mom at the laptop and kids either at the video games or  Ipods.  What has happened to us?  When we did stop enjoying each other "around the table"?

If you feel the same as I do but don't know where to start to change this,  I have an idea for you to try.  Click on over to Around the Table Games to check out their games that can get you back to talking with each other.  The idea is simple...just pick a card, ask the question and sit back and listen to the answer!  This can help you to add laughter to your day, learn more about each other and just plain enjoy time together.

These games are portable, thought provoking and FUN.  No need to set a time for a game night, you can take these fun portable games with you wherever you go.  Pack them in your purse to use on the go, while you wait at the doctor office, sit in traffic or on a long trip.  Just keep asking and answering for as long as you like.

Around the Table Games has 5 varieties to chose from:  Try Family Talk 1 & 2, Grandparent Talk with 100 questions in each pack. OR, made just for kids, by kids: Buddy Talk, Camp Talk or Teen Talk with 50 questions a pack..

I was sent the Double Deck Tin with  Family Talk & Grandparent Talk.  As soon as we opened it my 13 year old daughter began asking questions.

Here is a sample from Family Talk
What food or smells remind you of when you were younger?  I didn't have an answer for this one :)
What are your 3 most favorite things to do?  Visit my family, blog and go to the beach
What was your favorite game to play as a child?  I enjoyed jacks the most or the card game spit.

While we were playing we decided to mix it up a bit and see if we could answer correctly for someone else.  Whoever could answer correctly got to keep the card.  The person with the most cards after a set time...wins!  This brought some laughter and arguments discussion. :)  AND Mom won!!!!!

  1. Me! Me! I want to win!!! LOL

We have such a ridiculous assortment of games because, when we are all together, we still sit at the table and play games! Even when the grandparents are here! It's GREAT!

I am a follower of For One Another!

I have no answer to the question because I have recently reconnected with all my old friends that I was close to and it was GREAT! I wanted to see them because they were such a great group to hang with AND they still are!

An old friend I'd like to see is Kristin. We were always together from third grade until she moved away in our junior year. We kept in contact for a while, but at that age, so many things are happening to and around you that you tend to forget those who aren't around.
