CONGRATULATIONS TO
MRS.MOMMY
THE WINNER OF THE SEEK & FIND BIBLE
AND
STEPHANIE THE 'MYSTERY' PRIZE WINNER
SHE CHOSE
You can see more great books published by Crossway by visiting their blog.
This is a very cool Bible for your kid aged 5 - 9
I wish I had one of these when mine were younger.
Throughout the ESV Bible text there are accounts of major Bible events written to help your younger child understand God's message.
For example:
After reading the Bible text of the birth of Moses you will find a colorful picture of this event with the story retold in easy to understand story-form. Followed by a "Seek and Find" section that shows where to find this account, a key Bible verse, and three key questions to stimulate conversation.
There are also 50 illustrated character profiles throughout. Each gives basic information about a certain Bible character.
Each Bible book begins with an introduction that gives a quick overview of what the book is about. This page shares the author, date of writing, major people in the book, purpose, central themes and highlights major verses for memorization.
This Bible would make a great tool in any home for a Bible study or a read through the Bible challenge.
Because I no longer have children in this age group, I am offering my copy as a giveaway.

I don't have any children that young anymore either. :( But it sounds amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds absolutely wonderful and so perfect for my 7 year old!! My favorite character in the Bible would probably be Noah... simply for the fact that I love animals and would loved to have experienced seeing all of them together in one place!

This sounds like a great Bible. I follow you via GFC. My favorite person in the Bible... hmmm, I think it's Noah. He's a wonderful model for us on how to step out in faith, and do what God asks even when we don't exactly understand why, or when people think we're crazy.
