My family is definitely a game family, well most of us are anyway. Every family has a least 'one' party pooper...we have 2 (they are twins that just happen to be 30 years apart in age.....like father/like son).

I have 2 favorite items to review: Home school material and GAMES! When the 2 come together in one, that's even better. Enter Tasty Minstrel Games (I'm wondering where the name came from)

To provide intellectual stimulation through games.
To provide a consistently amazing experience across all of our games.

I am total agreement with this mission statement.

First, both Michael & Seth have a desire to bring families together without the use of technology. Who needs XBox, Nintnedo, Game Boy when you've got Tasty Minstrel?

Second....yea, well, let's just say we found this game very intellectually stimulating! To put it simple: it was tough! The first time we tried it out was in the van on a trip. I pulled out the cards and gave it a whirl. To say I was not very good at it would be laughable. Trying to think of only 3 word clues was tough. Guess I use too many words. My 17 year old son on the other hand, was great at it. A teenage boy---one of few words.

We then played with the family...a few were great at it, my favorite son-in-law, who happens to be in school to become a lawyer, did as expected from the intellectual he is, my daughter surprised me with great clues and of course, the teenage son. The rest of us did very well with guessing, but the clue giving....not so much. I did much better than on the car ride and WON!

Third, this was an amazing experience that I got better at the more I played. Challenging and thought provoking!

This game would be wonderful to use as a vocabulary game in school. Get rid of the workbook and pull out a game. The kids would love you for it, Mom/teacher! Just don't tell them it's part of school....that would ruin the fun ;)

All in all, I would say that Tasty Minstrel has definitely lived up to their mission with this game
