I just told my mom I don't know why I decided to try to write a review about a game daily for 8 days!  WHAT WAS I THINKING????  
Well here goes game 2, day 2.

FLEA CIRCUS

Flea Circus?  What could that be?  Just a fun card game with fleas as your entertainment.  But you don't want to collect fleas, of course not, but dogs and cats!  Whoever collects the most wins....SIMPLE! 

How do you do this?  

Well, you 'perform' a circus by laying your cards down in a pile in front of you. 

There are 7 attraction cards that have a flea performing an act.  This act is  worth a given number of points.  These points tell how many dogs/cats you collect as spectators.  Sometimes you take the dogs/cats from other players, other times from the center pot. This is where the strategy comes into play.  

There are also 4 'special' cards that allow something quite different to happen at your circus.  For instance, the Animal Catcher card requires all players (except the one who played the Animal Catcher card) to put BACK the number of dogs/cats that their top card shows. 

At first it is a little confusing...but as we got playing, we really enjoyed this game.  It is recommended for ages 6 and up. I would agree with this, but I think the younger ones will not necessarily get the strategy behind the game.  But they will have fun nonetheless.

We played with my nephew who is 8...he basically played according to what card he liked the best :)
