Follow Friday Four Fill In Fun

I'm finally back ;)

This week’s statements:
1. Lately, I have been feeling  a little___________
2. I am usually a ______
3. ________________________is always the best feeling at the end of the day
4. _________________________is the first thing I do in the morning

My Answers:

1. Lately, I have been feeling  a little sad and lost.  I find myself thinking of my dad often.  I try to be happy for him as he is no longer suffering, BUT then I get all upset because I realize he's really gone...a very strange reality that I'm having a tough time grasping.

2. I am usually an embarrassment to my children at parties.  I LOVE to have a good time..I admit, sometimes I get a little crazy, loud and silly :)

3. Climbing into bed when there are fresh, clean sheets and hubby has warmed it up already is always the best feeling at the end of the day.

4. Open my eyes and think, ugh...do I really HAVE to get up? is the first thing I do in the morning

  2. I'm sorry about your dad. I can sympathize with you. ((HUGS)) God bless you.

I like to get silly at parties (and even grocery shopping), too!

    Have a blessed New Year.

  3. I've been feeling overwhelmed followed by sad-what with the holidays and then the lovelies leaving afterwards. I'm usually an active walker/jogger but I blew my knee out. sort of. Seeing Hubs come home is the best feeling at the end of the day and walk Tucker is the first thing I do in the morning.

It's so hard to lose someone we love so dearly. Time eases the pain but it never goes away completely, does it?

  4. so sorry for your loss..... and time does ease the pain..but not the loss. And as far as embarrassing kids goes --- that's your job! and someday they will look back on it and laugh!

  7. @EmptyNesterI can totally relate to the overwhelmed/sad feeling. I get that way every time my kids come and leave also.
Sorry about the knee...how long will you be unable to walk?
