I'm sure you've heard the saying, 'You can't tell a book by it's cover'.  Well, in this case you can :)  This cover is so pretty, it just makes you want to open it.  And what is inside is even more beautiful:  

GOD'S WORD

That alone makes it worth opening for sure.  This particular Bible has resources in it to help you with your Bible study.  

Here are two of my favorite features, out of many:

• It begins with an explanation of how the New Living Translation came to be.  I really appreciated this because when I was ignorant about this translation. Because I grew up with KJV and now use NKJV, I've always stayed with what was familiar and trustworthy never giving any other version a chance.  I will not go so far as to say that this Bible has turned me around, but I will say that it was refreshing to read those familiar verses in a different version.  It made the same 'ole, same 'ole new.  
• There are 24 spiritual discipline sprinkled throughout the book to guide you into a deeper living out of your faith.  

These are not just randomly displayed, but each relates to the passage on the page that you just read.  Then in the back is an index of these, so if you need to study up more on one particular discipline you can find them easily.

There is much, much more here, but those are my 2 favorite aspects that I feel make this a wonderful resource for your Bible study.
