Noah in Pictures....No not the movie!

Mark Ludy is a very talented artist as his new book clearly demonstrates.

At first I was unsure if I liked this book, but the more I looked, the more details I saw and the more I wanted to see.

Here is a sampling of the vivid colors, amazing details and awesome story-telling in pictures:

I LOVE THIS!!

The fact that it is a wordless book could be the best part of it or maybe the worst.

Best:  YOU tell the story with as much or little detail that you choose.  No more wondering if the author gets the account correct because you are the author!

Worst:  YOU tell the story....but you may not know the TRUE account.  You may have only seen the movie which isn't an accurate account of what the Bible teaches....which brings me back to the

BEST:  YOU can pick up your Bible, turn to Genesis 5-10 and read the Author's account of this historical event that has been told and retold throughout generations in every known culture.  After you've read what the creator says, you can go back to this picture book and retell to your eager listener accurately.

Anything that lends itself to Bible reading is a plus in my book!

The only thing I didn't like in this book is the portrayal of the people.  Honestly, the faces creeped me out a bit :/

I tried to look this over with my 20 month old, book-lovin' granddaughter, but I think she is a bit young for it as her interest did not last long.

My recommended ages would be 6 and above.

You can purchase the book directly from Mark Ludy here.

Or if you are an Amazon shopper, like I am, you can find it here.

*I received a complimentary copy of this book from Handlebar Publishing for my honest review.
