On This Day in Christian History by Robert Morgan Review

I have wanted to study Christian History for many years now, but have not taken the time to look into a book/curriculum to use.  When I was given the opportunity to review this book from BookSneeze I was more than glad to.

This is a great start for me.  Daily tidbits (365 to be exact) from Christian history told on the day they actually happened in history. The readings are not too overwhelming, but enough to whet my appetite for more. Mr. Robert Morgan, the author of Then Sings My Soul also, chooses saints, martyrs and heroes from the past and tells a part of their story.  Each day he closes with a scripture to ponder from the Contemporary English Version Bible that relates with the history account.  There is also a topical index in the back to use as a help.

I plan to use this along with my daily quiet time to delve into the history of the Christian Church.  Who knows, maybe this will be the start of a complete study on Christian History for me :)

**I  received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze.com book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
