A Time to Embrace by Karen Kingsbury Review

A hot bath and a good book.....two of my favorite things when put together!  The only problem is I turn to a prune, cuz a good book keeps me in the tub a loooonnnngggg time!

When reading a Karen Kingsbury book I have to keep telling myself, "It's only a book!"  as I go from laughing to sobbing.  A Time to Embrace is one of those books when in the tub I turn to a prune, laugh and cry.

This is the 2nd book in her Timeless Love Series but it can stand alone.  There is enough information from the 1st book so that the reader is not lost wondering where that idea came from.  But whet's the appetite to read the first book also.

This is a story about how life can take a turn that you don't expect.  A story of love, forgiveness and the journey to get there.

After reading this book I wanted to hug my husband more, listen for God's voice in my daily life, forgive that one who hurt me, pray for the hurting and enjoy life a little bit more.

  1. Nice...sounds like a book I would like. If it makes you hug your hubby more, than it is good. He needs those hugs!
As for December...your Dad was born this month...does that make it a little better for you?
AND it is a month in which one can take note of what he/she has done for a year and give God thanks for all the good stuff. Then get on to the new year...praising the Lord and serving Him more and looking forward to HIS coming again.
You are such a special daughter [even though you are the only one I had! Love you much].
