When I first began homeschooling I avoided the topic of dinosaurs.  I didn't have any knowledge on how to explain that they were NOT millions of years old, other than using what the account of Genesis says about the creation of animals.  I know that should have been enough, but I didn't feel that I could answer all the questions about the origin of these monsters.  Our family avoided all movies with dragons, dinosaurs or any other "mythical" creature.  I basically just stuck my head in the ground concerning this topic.

Recently I came upon this book "Dragons:  Legends & Lore of Dinosaurs" by Master Books.

They have done a wonderful job of  providing factual and biblical information about dragons/dinosaurs while keeping the "scariness" of dinosaurs intact.

This book is like the opening of a treasure chest.  Page after page shows these scary beasts in all their terror!  Just like kids want.  AND provides much information about these ancient animals, just as parents want. It's a win-win!

I especially like that it is put together as a lapbook...meaning there are "mini-books" within this large hardcover book.  Each mini-book kas it's own treasure to enjoy.
This book could BE a science class.  You could use it as a text, there is just so much information found within it's 24 pages using  original illustrations, envelopes, fold-outs, gatefolds, and more!

If you are looking for reasonable, biblical answers to these questions:

Were dragons real?

Could dragons have, in fact, been dinosaurs?

Is there evidence that mankind has ever encountered dragons/dinosaurs?

Are they in the Bible?

Don't delay, this book is for you...  You will get each of the above questions answered and more!
