Fool Moon Rising Review

Fool Moon Rising is a rhyming tale written and illustrated by a husband/wife team.  It tells of a prideful moon taking credit for all that it can do until one day it realizes that without the sun it can do nothing.


I'm sure you can realize the lesson to be learned from my brief description.  Just as the moon needs the sun to survive, we need the SON to have life.

Galatians 6:14

 But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.

This is a fun read with whimsical pictures that will make you smile.  The last 2 pages have some questions to ask your child to be sure they understand the  message.  They also add some fun facts about space for you to enjoy.

  

Although personification is a literary tool, I've never been a fan of it.  Putting aside my personal feelings, I'd say this would be an enjoyable read for your family.
