CONGRATULATIONS TO BECKEE
I enjoy granola, but don't buy it very often. I have attempted to make my own, and although tasty, not really worth the effort involved. When I first heard about Nuts About Granola I was intrigued by the name so I surfed over to their website to find out more! To find out that this company is a mother/daughter venture surely impressed me. I am always amazed with the entrepreneurial spirit. They have an inspiring story of how it all began. All batches of their granola is mixed by hand in their home in York, PA. An American made product!!!! Their website is simple and easy. Not a lot of hype, just the facts, please. They offer lists of ingredients and nutrition information for every product. So you know what you are buying.
I received a single pack of their Jungle Fever flavor.
I was so excited when I received my bag of Jungle Fever. Then I read that it contained coconut I said "oh great!" I dislike coconut very much. Well, I promised I would try it and review it. With trepidation, I opened the bag, took a handful and popped some into my mouth. My taste buds were pleasantly surprised. So I ate a little more. Each mouthful offered different flavors. First, oat, then nuts, then lemon, then cinnamon. WOW....very nice indeed. There was not an overwhelming coconut flavor (thankfully). I was going to try it with milk next, but it was addicting and before I knew it I had the 2 oz single bag devoured.
The price is right also. For a 2 oz SINGLES bag, only $1.50. But I would recommend the 13 oz bag for $5.99, 'cuz 2 ounces is a tease. ;) You will definitely want more!
Sarah at Nuts About Granola is offering a $10.00 e-gift certificate to one of you!
