My Week At A Glance 6

June 5 - 11, 2011

This is my first attempt at hosting a blog hop.
Feel free to join and recruit your fellow bloggers!

The rules are simple.
1.  Write a post about your week, Anything you want! Or just link to your favorite post.
2.  Please copy and paste the Week At a Glance button to that post.
3.  Come here and  link up your post below.  Linky will be active from Saturday - Tuesday!

You can then have fun "hopping" around to read about other bloggers weeks or their favorite post of the week.

This week was just one of those ordinary, nothing spectacular to report weeks.  Busy, busy with life in general, no big news, no fun events....just the same 'ole'-same 'ole...but sometimes that is refreshing and exactly what is needed.

Spent a lot of time working on the computer for The Gabby Moms program.  Preparing for next week's review and organizing the 2012 recruitment process.  If you are interested in participating in 2012, send an email here.

Here in the northeast we had some amazing summer-like weather.  80's and humid...we rarely even get that in the midst of summer never mind the beginning of June, but I'm loving it very much!  Bring it on!

I had many conversations with my kids far away...almost daily calls from Sampy-June.  Her boyfriend is away for the summer working at a summer camp so she needs a bit of a distraction.  I'll gladly fill up those lonely hours :)

Mandie-Moo calling to tell me about her 1 year wedding anniversary trip to Key West, FL (JEALOUS!)

Then an hour and a half on the phone with Eba-Jay getting caught up on his activities.

My mom commented that it is nice that my kids still want to talk with me even after moving out.  I truly am blessed!

I spent a lot of the day playing with my anniversary gift.  My hubby had to modify it as I kept breaking the plastic strings.  Now I have metal cable and I can go like wild fire!  Wonder what I'm talking about?....click here to find out.

Feel free to post to the linky...it can be a summary of your week, or just your favorite post of the week. Please add my button so others can join in the fun!

  1. I agree with you about uneventful weeks- it's just nice to have those calm ones every so often.

The lovelies call me all the time and everyone tells me how lucky I am that they still do this. To be honest, I thought everyone's kids did that! Go figure.
